In this workshop we concentrate on stamps, you can learn how to make functional ceramic pieces with custom textures by taking a course in slab building, carving, and stamping techniques. 

This could include carving initials to have a personal signature stamp. 

Or to create simple patterns and texture on clay surface with minmal designs. 

Because we can not make excessive use of the fresh stamps we just created I suggest we print with your favorite plants, flowers and herbs, to have some production going for the first night. I invite you to bring some branches of plants you are curious to see in clay.

For the second date in the beginning of May we can try our selfmade stamps on a slap build piece. While using the stamps we try to anticipate how the glaze can play with the relief of the texture we create.
